My Lego Church!

Lately, I’ve been working on my Lego church! I’ve finally finished it! As you can see from the images, it includes stained glass windows, a bell tower with a clock on it, pews, and more! It took me about 15 hours to complete.

Features

Hinges

I wanted to make the church open to show detail and make it more presentable. As you can see below, I used hinges to make it open and close.

Opened fully

As you can see from the images above, the church opens fully to reveal both sides of the church.

Stained Glass Windows

The stained glass windows are my favorite feature. I used transparent 1×1 pieces along with a few 1×2 pieces. This was a very fun task and added complexity to the build. In addition, it was my first time doing this type of window and I was proud of the result. These two windows below are 1×6 wide.

There’s also the main stained glass window which is seen when going “in to” the church. It is 1×8 wide.

Removable Roof

Another feature of the church is the removable roof. It allows easy access to see inside the church. I did this so you can look down to see what’s going on inside.
